6 out of 8 aint bad

Hello Friends!

I’m not sure if many (if anyone) reads this.  However, I have been slacking to start this great ’09 season.  The Jays look good to start it off with some impressive offence in the first 8 games.  I would like to see an improvement in the pitching but, can’t complain too much since the starting staff is largely inexperienced in the majors.  Last night’s victory is somewhat bittersweet considering young Jesse Litsch is placed on the 15 day DL this afternoon.  But what about Snider’s two jack game?!  He certainly looks like he’ll be a player to watch.

On to tonight’s game.  I am looking forward to seeing what Ricky Romero can do in his first away start of his career.  I’ll try and post a recap after the game if I’m still awake.
